Jay Park, Korean-American rapper and founder of independent hip-hop label AOMG, released digital R&B single “The Truth Is” along with a music video at midnight Sunday.
In his new R&B ballad, Park talks about his complex and volatile post-breakup feelings frankly from a third-person perspective in his song. The song was jointly produced with producer team Groovy Room.
“The song features various complex feelings of a man who leaves his loving girlfriend,” Park said in the teaser, released Thursday on AOMG’s YouTube channel.
AOMG also revealed a trailer of Park’s new music video on Friday, featuring animated images of a dog walking on the street.
