Peruvian photographer and artist Roberto Huarcaya brings South American country's mystical landscapes to Seoul
Step into the untamed beauty of nature and the diverse landscapes of Peru through the photo exhibition "A Sombre Aspect" by renowned Peruvian photographer and artist Roberto Huarcaya.
The Peruvian Embassy in Seoul and the Korea Foundation Gallery are jointly hosting the photography exhibition at the KF Gallery in Jung-gu, central Seoul, to offer visitors a visual narrative of the South American country's mystical landscapes and cultures.
The exhibition allows visitors to walk through Peru under three themes: nature, nature alike and nature within. Visitors can delve into rich cultural heritage such as the "Yawar fiesta," also known as the "Blood Festival," a traditional celebration involving a fight between a condor and a bull, and the Eucalyptus forest.
The Peruvian Embassy in Seoul expressed hopes that the exhibition would lay the groundwork for a long-lasting cultural and artistic exchange between Peru and Korea.
The exhibition will welcome visitors until May 16 and is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., except Sundays. Admission is free of charge.
