Hyundai Motor Group announced Monday that it will host a software developer conference, Pleos 25, next month to accelerate its transition to software-defined vehicles, or SDV, and secure its leadership in the ever-evolving digital mobility ecosystem.
During the event, set to be held on March 28 at Coex in southern Seoul, the auto giant also plans to unveil its new software brand, Pleos, as well as the official website and platform for developers.
The Pleos platform will offer developers access to a software development kit and application programming interface, enabling them to create programs for diverse in-vehicle infotainment applications, the group said.
“(Pleos 25) will provide a comprehensive view of Hyundai Motor Group’s envisioned software-defined vehicle ecosystem by introducing the new software brand and platform, along with methods for utilizing them in software development,” said a Hyundai official.
“We look forward to active participation from developers and business partners as we work to build a new ecosystem for in-car solutions.”
