Tourism officials in Austria are offering on eBay one night in a double bed at 10,000ft in the Alps to couples.
“Whether you have just fallen in love and want to surprise your partner or simply love nature -- this night is sure to be unforgettable,” said a spokesman of a tourist authority.
The winning couple can spend one night in a bed placed on a glacier on top of the mountain. The offer does not provide any accommodation except for a food hamper and portable toilet.
“It is a very romantic site under a sky of stars with no one to hear or see you,” a mountain guide said.
The proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNESCO, which chooses the beauty spot a World Heritage Site.
