These braised pork ribs are tender and coated in a rich, tangy glaze. Simmered in a savory-sweet sauce made with balsamic vinegar, tonkatsu sauce, and soy sauce, the ribs develop a deep umami flavor with a glossy finish.

Garnished with chopped nuts and parsley, this recipe from W Table is both delicious and visually appealing.

Instructions

In a pot, add the pork ribs and water. Bring to a boil over high heat and boil for 20 minutes.

Remove the ribs from the pot and discard the boiling water.

In a wok or large pan, add the seasoning ingredients and the pre-boiled ribs. Simmer over medium heat for about 23 minutes, turning the ribs occasionally to prevent burning.

Serve the braised ribs on a plate and garnish with chopped nuts and parsley.
