Ingredients:
- 1 block tofu (300 grams)
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- A pinch of powdered sugar (or regular sugar)
- A pinch of flour
- Cooking oil as needed
Instructions:
Mash the tofu and wrap it in a cloth to gently squeeze out excess moisture.
In a mixing bowl, combine the tofu with the pancake mix, and mix well. Gradually add milk to adjust the consistency of the dough. (You may need to adjust the amount of milk depending on the moisture of the tofu.)
Sprinkle flour on a cutting board and dust your hands with flour. Take about 50 grams of dough, shape it into a ball, and then use a small round lid to press a hole in the center to form a donut shape.
Heat the oil to a low temperature of 150 to 160 degrees Celsius. Fry the donuts, turning them occasionally, for about 3 to 4 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Sprinkle the fried donuts with powdered sugar (or regular sugar) before serving.
