A man pretending to be Psy was spotted in this year’s Cannes International Film Festival, foreign media reported Thursday.
Wearing Psy’s trademark suit and round sunglasses, the imposter reportedly sang “Gangnam Style” and performed the world-famous horse-riding dance in front of celebrities who attended an exclusive VIP party at the festival in France.
The man, who was later identified by the local JoongAng Ilbo newspaper as a Frenchmen of Chinese descent, reinforced his disguise by being accompanied by three bodyguards, taking pictures with celebrities and signing autographs.
Some foreign media reported that Psy had visited Cannes.
After hearing the news, the real Psy said via his Twitter that it “seems like there’s another ME at Cannes… Say hi to him.”
