[DISCLOSURE] LabGenomics (084650) announced on Oct. 12 that it has obtained a patent for ATP7B gene mutation detection method using real-time PCR.
The mutation in ATP7B gene is widely known as Wilson disease, a rare inherited disorder that causes excessive amounts of copper to accumulate in the body.
