Seventeen’s Dino drops surprise single

Seventeen's Dino will drop a solo digital single on Tuesday, a surprise hello from the enlisted musician, his agency Pledis Entertainment said.

He wrote both the lyrics and melody of “Automatic,” which conveys the fluttering feelings of falling in love. He gave his fans an early listen in August, during his solo show in Seoul, “Dino X Picheolin Board Show.”

Dino has been expanding his musical horizons through solo music, starting with the mixtape “Wait” in 2021. In August, he released his first EP “Board” as his alter ego, Picheolin, and had stand-alone shows in Seoul and Macao.

He enlisted last week alongside bandmate Seungkwan, and both will serve in the Army military band. Currently, eight of Seventeen's 13 members are enlisted.
