Jisoo of Blackpink saw her solo single “Addicted” rise to the top of iTunes songs charts in 28 regions, according to Blissoo on Tuesday.
The music video for the prerelease from her first solo studio album claimed the No. 1 spot on YouTube’s trending music video worldwide ranking.
She participated in writing the lyrics of the song, which dropped Friday, highlighting her vocal capabilities and demonstrating rapping skills.
The artist is set to perform the new song on a television music chart show in Korea, over 1 1/2 years since she promoted “Earthquake,” main track from EP “Amortage.”
On Saturday, Jisoo uploaded a short-form video on her social media dancing to the new song and Rose appeared unannounced to the surprise of viewers and joined the moves.
