NCT Wish’s 4th EP hits 1m sales upon release

NCT Wish’s fourth mini album is an instant million-seller, recording over 1.2 million in first-day sales, SM Entertainment said Tuesday.

It brought out “I Spy” on Monday and extended its million-selling streak to a fourth consecutive set, which follows the second and third EPs, “Poppop” and “Color,” respectively, as well as its first full-length album, “Ode to Love.” All six tracks from the latest endeavor made Melon’s Top 100 and Hot 100.

The youngest subunit of NCT is set to embark on its second concert trip, “Into the Wish: Face Our Wish,” in Seoul on Jan. 15. The two nights of shows in Seoul will mark its first at Gocheok Sky Dome, one of the largest concert venues in Korea, coming less than three years since the subunit's debut.
