Samsung Electronics said Thursday its third-quarter operating profit rose an estimated 782.5 percent from a year earlier to a record 107.4 trillion won ($80 billion).

Revenue increased 126.6 percent on-year to 195 trillion won, according to the company’s preliminary earnings guidance. Compared with the previous quarter, operating profit rose 20 percent and revenue grew 13.7 percent.

The South Korean company did not provide a breakdown by business division or explain the drivers of the growth in its guidance.

The preliminary figures point to another record quarter for the world’s largest memory chipmaker, surpassing the previous quarter’s operating profit of 89.4 trillion won.

Samsung will release its full earnings report later this month.
