NCT Wish is set to release its fourth mini album on Oct. 12, label SM Entertainment announced on Monday.
The teaser trailer for “I Spy” hinted at a new narrative: a digital dimension called “Wish Land.” There, each member faces their emotions after an encounter with the unknown, “energy.”
The EP will be a six-track set including the title track and follows about six months after first studio album “Ode to Love,” which became the six-member NCT subunit’s third consecutive million-seller. The album sold over 1.8 million units in the first week, and the title track earned first place on television music chart shows three times.
Between the two albums in Korea, NCT Wish earned double platinum certification in Japan with its single “Yo-I-Don!/Boy Meets Girl,” which recorded half a million shipments.
