Morning temperatures across South Korea will fall as low as 11 degrees Celsius Thursday, and inland areas could see day-night temperature gaps of up to 15 degrees, the Korea Meteorological Administration said Wednesday.
Morning lows are forecast at 11 C to 20 C, with daytime highs ranging from 22 C to 29 C.
Seoul is expected to see a low of 16 C and a high of 26 C. Morning lows are forecast at 12 C in Chuncheon, 15 C in Gangneung and Daejeon, 16 C in Daegu, 18 C in Gwangju and 20 C in Busan.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 28 C in Jeonju, Gwangju and on Jeju Island, 26 C in Busan and 25 C in Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon and Daegu.
The KMA said inland areas could see temperature differences of 10 C to 15 C between day and night.
Strong winds are forecast across parts of southern Korea and Jeju Island, with gusts of around 55 kilometers per hour and around 70 kph in mountainous areas.
Parts of the southeastern and southern coasts and eastern Jeju under strong-wind advisories could see gusts exceeding 70 kph.
Winds over surrounding seas are forecast at 30 kph to 70 kph, with waves reaching 1.5 to 4 meters. Waves could exceed 5 meters in some waters.
Fog may reduce visibility to below 1 kilometer in inland South Jeolla Province early Thursday.
Fine dust levels are forecast to remain "good" nationwide.
