Girl group to return just over four months after breakthrough with 'Pretty Girl'
Rescene, the rookie girl group enjoying domestic momentum after viral YouTube content propelled it into the mainstream, is set to return with new music in mid-November, an industry source told The Korea Herald on Tuesday.
"Rescene is currently aiming for a comeback in mid-November, although the exact date has yet to be finalized," the source said on condition of anonymity. "Fan promotions surrounding the comeback are still being coordinated, so the schedule remains fluid and could change even after a date is tentatively set."
Rescene's agency, The Muze Entertainment, said it could not confirm the comeback date as of Tuesday.
A November release would mark Rescene's return just over four months after the group released the special single "Pretty Girl" on July 8. The song is a remake of Kara's 2008 hit of the same name, which served as the lead track of its second EP.
"Pretty Girl" gave Rescene its first music show win in July, while the group’s 2024 track "Love Attack" climbed to No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 nearly two years after its release.
It remains to be seen whether the upcoming release will be a single or a new EP.
An EP release would be Rescene's first in about a year. Its most recent EP, "Lip Bomb," arrived in November 2025, followed by singles in 2026.
