Innocean said Wednesday it will open a new office in Bengaluru, India, as the South Korean advertising company seeks to expand its presence in one of the world's fastest-growing digital markets.

The marketing and communications arm of Hyundai Motor Group said the new office is expected to strengthen its marketing abilities while enhancing competitiveness in the data and artificial intelligence sectors. Bengaluru is widely considered the "Indian Silicon Valley" for its prominent ecosystem comprising tech, startups and global capability centers.

The decision came after an increase in demand for insight-based marketing and broader business solutions that combine data-based decision-making, commerce, customer experience and platform development, the company explained.

Leveraging its two decades of experience in India, Innocean said it aims to evolve into an "integrated growth platform" able to support clients throughout the entire business development process.

Through the new Bengaluru office, the company plans to expand two core business areas: hybrid business models that combine data analytics with AI and content curation, and offshore services designed to support its global network operations.

"Since its launch in 2005, our Indian subsidiary has contributed towards the reinforcement of Innocean's competitiveness within the Indian market," said Yoo Jae-ho, Innocean's Indian office director.

"Our new launch in Bengaluru, home to a rich talent pool and global tech firms, is also expected to yield meaningful results and advance our global networking."
