[DISCLOSURE] Samsung C&T (028260) said on Aug. 23 that Societe Algerienne De Production De L’electricite has announced its halt of a 660 billion won (US$588 million) power plant construction project in Mostaganem, Algeria.
The deal was inked in 2014 and expires Aug. 5, 2017.
Samsung C&T added that it plans to further negotiate with the government-owned electric utility to reach an agreement.
