Samsung Electronics tops corporate donations
삼성전자, 2025년 기업 기부금 1위
Samsung Electronics has topped the list of corporate donations made over the first nine months of 2025, although the volume of its donations declined from a year earlier, a report showed.
삼성전자가 2025년 1~9월 국내 기업 기부 순위에서 1위를 차지한 것으로 나타났다. 다만 기부 규모는 전년 대비 감소했다는 분석이다.
The South Korean tech giant donated 110.4 billion won ($75.5 million) over the January-September period, down 22 percent from the previous year, according to data released by industry tracker CEO Score.
기업평가 사이트 CEO스코어에 따르면 삼성전자는 올 1~9월 총 1,104억 원(7,550만 달러)을 기부해 기부액 1위에 올랐다. 이는 전년 같은 기간보다 22% 줄어든 규모다.
The state-run Korea Electric Power Corp. followed next with 109.2 billion won in donations, and Hyundai Motor provided 106.9 billion won over the period.
뒤이어 한국전력공사가 1,092억 원, 현대자동차가 1,069억 원을 같은 기간 기부한 것으로 조사됐다.
CEO Score said donations by 218 of the country's top 500 companies that disclosed relevant data in their quarterly financial reports totaled 1.1 trillion won through September, up 3.6 percent from a year earlier. (Yonhap)
