To mark Parents’ Day on Thursday, the civic group Dail Community, known for its decadeslong free meal program for the needy, invited hundreds of seniors — including homeless individuals and those from low-income households — for a special celebration in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

Held alongside its regular meal service, the event featured volunteers pinning carnations on guests, a singing contest, quizzes and gift giveaways.

Dail Community's "Babfor Sharing Movement" has been providing support to underserved communities through meals, education and medical services. This year's event was held under the theme, “May 2025: No One Left Lonely.”
