Hankook Tire & Technology Co. said Friday it will supply tires for Hyundai Motor's Ioniq 9 electric sport utility vehicle developed in collaboration with the automaker.
The iON evo AS SUV tire is an all-season product developed in collaboration with Hyundai and is specifically engineered for electric vehicles.
The product incorporates a new compound material that helps maintain driving performance across diverse conditions and prevents abnormal wear and tear.
"This partnership strengthens our collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group in the EV sector," Hankook Tire said. "We aim to solidify our leadership position in the global EV tire market." (Yonhap)
