Chuu to release new EP next month: report

Chuu is gearing up to return in April with a new EP, according to a local media report on Thursday.

It will be about ten months since the release of her second EP, “Strawberry Rush.” The titular track from that mini album is "a juicy, cosmic earworm” with an “effervescent melody, exhilarating tempo and imaginative lyrics,” and is “still quite possibly the most underrated K-pop song of 2024,” wrote Forbes magazine in January, recommending readers to add it to their playlists.

On Thursday, Chuu dropped a remake of “Because I’m Stupid?” in collaboration with Kixo, who sang the original song in 2023.

The singer and actor is also shooting “My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy,” a drama adaptation of the webtoon, which is set to air in the first half of this year.
