Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. announced Wednesday plans for the construction of a premium housing development -- “Hillstate Hwanggeum Station Reserve” -- in Hwanggeum-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu.

The complex consists of five buildings as high as 40 stories, offering 337 apartment units in larger sizes of 82-83 square meters along with 74 studio apartments. Units are now available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis, with no requirements for a housing subscription savings account or local residency.

Situated in a prime location, the complex is within walking distance of Hwanggeum Station on Daegu Metro Line No. 3 and various educational institutions.

Nearby amenities include Homeplus Suseong, located directly across from the complex, along with Hwanggeum Market and Diran-gil Food Town. The upcoming relocation of the Suseong District Office to Beomeo Park by 2029 will add to the neighborhood’s convenience.

The apartments are south-facing and utilize a highly sought-after plate-type layout to optimize lighting and views. Each unit includes a pantry near the entrance or hallway and extended balcony spaces that further enhance functionality.

The pricing for the apartments has been set strategically to remain competitive with the surrounding market rates. The average selling price ranges between 820 million won ($560,000) and 840 million won.
