지난 1월토익시험 파트5에 나온 단어들을 정리해 본다. 저작권에 걸리는 단어나 예문은 없고 시험에 답으로 나온 단어들을 많이 실었다. 쉬운단어들도 포함되어 있지만 애정을 가지고 예문을 통해 공부해 보자!

1. Creative (창의적인)

7. Returning (돌아가는) – 이 단어는 자동사로 ~로 돌아가다, 타동사로 ~을 반품하다의 의미이다.

11. Risen (rise의 과거분사형)

The price of gasoline has risen significantly this year, affecting transportation costs.올해 휘발유 가격이 크게 올라 교통비에 영향을 미쳤습니다.

13. Briefly (간단히) – 주어+부사+본동사 구문에서 부사 정답으로 출제되었다.

14. Participation (참여) cf. participant (참여자)

15. Unlimited (무제한의) ↔ limited (제한된)

16. in spite of (~에도 불구하고) 이 단어는 전치사로 그 뒤에 명사가 오고 although는 접속사로 그 뒤에는 주어 동사가 온다.
