Chungha will return with fifth EP “Alivio” on Feb. 12, announced agency More Vision Thursday.
As the album title -- meaning comfort and relief in Spanish – suggests, she will sing of the complexity of emotions from stress to release we feel in our everyday lives, offering encouragement to listeners to find one’s true self without overwhelmed by feelings.
The mini album will be the musician’s first in about 2 1/2 years, since second studio album “Bare & Rare Pt. 1,” which was followed by a yearlong hiatus. She came back last year and dropped four digital singles, including winter special “Christmas Promises.”
She also was featured in Jay Park’s “Gimme a Minute,” one of the three focus tracks from his sixth LP, “The One You Wanted.”
