The second physical single from Seventeen subunit BSS sold close to 530,000 copies in its first week, agency Pledis Entertainment said Wednesday citing a local tally.

The single “Teleparty” sold over half a million copies as did the trio’s previous single “Second Wind,” which holds a first-week sales record for the K-pop subunit at 610,000.

The focus track from the new single “CBZ” topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in eight regions and the accompanying music video claimed the No. 1 spot on YouTube’s trending video chart when it was unveiled last week.

The three members – Seungkwan, Dokyeom and Hoshi – held a fan meetup in Seoul on Sunday. From Saturday they will rejoin Seventeen on its Asia tour for stops in Bulacan, Philippines, Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok.

Jimin of BTS ranked No. 39 on Billboard’s Hot 100 with the solo single “Who” and album “Muse” No. 135 on the Billboard 200, on the charts dated Jan. 18.

Taemin's agency fully supports his activities as a member of SHINee, Big Planet Entertainment announced Wednesday.

The management company underlined that it has and will continue to support Taemin to the best of its ability, both as a solo musician and as part of the group Taemin treasures. The agency vowed to take legal action against rumors that wrongly claimed that there was a conflict between the company and his former label SM Entertainment.

He was absent from SM Entertainment’s anniversary concert last week while bandmates Key and Minho put on solo performances.

Taemin apologized to fans Tuesday via a fan communication platform for missing the event, explaining that his agency and SM Entertainment needed time to coordinate.

Boy band Wei held a media showcase Wednesday in Seoul to introduce its seventh EP, “The Feelings.”

The five-track album comes about 1 1/2 years after its previous EP, “Love Pt. 3: Eternally,” and conveys mixed feelings of love.

Admitting that he had been anxious during the group's hiatus, Kim Donghan said that the band put all the more effort into creating the album to make up for the lapse. Daehyun wrote two songs – the lead single “Not Enough” as well as a B-side track -- and he came up with the choreography for two numbers, he added.

Kim Yohan was absent from the event and will not promote the album as he is shooting a drama. But Kang Seokhwaall said that all six of them prepared the album together, emphasizing Yohan's eager participation.
