The Korea Herald, the nation’s top English newspaper, is providing readers with real-time news on the 18th presidential election via digital platforms.

Thanks to a newly-adopted streamlined news distribution system, up-to-date news delivered from voting sites will be swiftly relayed to readers via The Korea Herald’s website (www.koreaherald.com) and mobile devices such as smartphones.

Readers can closely follow the election through mobile applications for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

The Korea Herald’s social network services on Twitter (@thekoreaherald) and Facebook (facebook.com/thekoreaherald) will also carry updates on the constantly changing voting results that will decide the country’s new leader.

The English mobile news service, “Herald Topic,” will cover the election as well, offering frequent short and long text messages in the form of headlines and articles with a link to online stories.
