Ingredients:
500 milliliters milk
400 grams pork belly (whole piece)
5 cloves garlic
1 piece ginger
2 bay leaves
A pinch of whole black peppercorns
A pinch of salt
A pinch of black pepper
(serves 2)
Instructions:

Heat a pan with a little oil and sear the pork belly until the surface is crispy. Season with salt and black pepper.

In a pot, add the pork belly, milk, garlic, ginger, bay leaves and black peppercorns.

Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low-medium heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Flip the pork belly and continue simmering on low heat for another 30 minutes.

Slice the milk-braised pork belly into bite-sized pieces and enjoy. (Tip: Serve with white kimchi and salted shrimp for added flavor, if desired.)
