A chance to experience the garden of Changdeokgung in the quiet calm of morning will be available from Aug. 22-25.

The Joseon-era (1392-1910) palace garden will open at 7:30 a.m. for four days, allowing visitors to explore the naturally landscaped garden for 90 minutes before general admission begins.

Purchase a 10,000 won ticket via the booking website Interpark. Each session is limited to 25 persons on a first come, first served basis. Ticket holders will be briefed on the garden at Donhwamun, the main gate of the palace.

Built in 1405, Changdeokgung was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The palace garden was home to royal ceremonies.
