A2O Lite nabs 1st trophy on music show seven days after debut

A2O Entertainment's rookie girl group A2O Lite placed first on the television music chart program "The Show" on Tuesday with its debut song “Neon."

The single was released digitally on Oct. 13, marking the return of star producer and SM founder Lee Sooman and the launch of the group’s music career.

“Neon” climbed to the No. 1 spot on Melon’s Top 100 in just over 24 hours — the fastest time for a debut song since the chart restructured in 2021 — and maintained the spot for six consecutive days.

A2O Lite is a multinational group of nine members aged from 13 to 17.
