As South Korea prepares for Chuseok, one of the country’s biggest holidays, airports and highways fill with travelers while traditional markets bustle with shoppers stocking up for family gatherings and holiday feasts.

At Incheon Airport, travelers head overseas on Wednesday, a day before the four-day holiday begins. The airport expects about 1.14 million passengers during the Chuseok travel period starting Thursday.

Across the country, roads grow busier, markets fill with shoppers and families make their final preparations for the holiday.
