BTS’ Jungkook garners 500m streams on YouTube Music with ‘Standing Next to You’

Jungkook of BTS now has four songs with more than 500 million plays on YouTube Music.

His solo single “Standing Next to You” reached the milestone on the platform, joining “Seven (feat. Latto),” “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” and “Left and Right,” a Charlie Puth collaboration.

As the main track for his first solo album “Golden,” the retro funk tune debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 5, and atop both its Global 200 and Global excl. US. It hit the UK Official Singles Top 100 at No. 6. On Spotify, it has racked up 1.5 billion streams.

The artist returned to Korea on Monday after BTS performed four songs at iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. It was the first time in six years the septet joined the event's lineup.
