Coway has launched the Berex Triple Chair 2 Slim, a compact offering that combines the functions of an office chair, recliner and massage chair for homes with limited space.
The new model is 9 percent smaller than the movable version of its predecessor, according to the company. Its wheels are concealed inside the base, preserving a streamlined appearance while allowing the chair to be moved when needed.
For office use, the seat height can be adjusted by up to 5 centimeters. An optional lumbar support system, which Coway calls a “C-curve close-contact design,” extends forward by as much as 70 millimeters to support the lower back.
Users can save up to four preferred seating positions and return to them without manually readjusting the chair.
The electric reclining system ranges from a 110-degree working position to a maximum angle of 150 degrees for rest. The backrest and leg rest can be controlled independently.
A three-zone heating system warms the back, waist, hips and legs.
For massage, the chair uses 3D rollers that extend by up to 83 millimeters and move vertically, horizontally and forward and backward. A shoulder-detection sensor identifies the user’s body position and adjusts the massage path from the neck to the waist.
The chair offers 21 massage programs and nine intensity levels. It also features a swing mode that gently rocks the backrest during a massage.
Coway said the Triple Chair 2 Slim was designed to deliver the core functions of a full-size massage chair while taking up less space and serving as an everyday work and relaxation chair.
