Hwasa is poised to hit the stage at Rock in Rio, a first for a female artist from Korea, her agency P Nation said Friday.
She will mark her debut on the main stage, Palco Mundo, World Stage, in Rio de Janeiro the same day. The festival was born in the former Brazilian capital and grew into one of the major international music festivals, adding Portugal, Spain and US as destinations for its “global editions.”
This year, the lineup for the main stage includes Elton John, Maroon 5 and Stray Kids. Hwasa will perform a series of her solo hits, such as “Twit,” “Maria” and “Good Goodbye.”
Meanwhile, earlier in the week Hwasa performed at the state dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron to welcome President Lee Jae Myung.
