Katseye’s prerelease “Animal” ranked No. 30 on Billboard’s Hot 100, climbing up five places from the previous week.
The single was released last month ahead of the group's third EP “Wild,” which was released Aug. 14. The dance-pop tune hit the main songs chart at No. 24, and Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global at No. 5, both its highest debut on the rankings.
On Billboard’s Global 200 and Global excl. US dated Aug. 22, the single ranked No. 16 and No. 19, respectively.
For the time being, however, only four members will promote the new album. Earlier this month, Sophia chose to take some time off for mental health reasons.
Meanwhile, Katseye cinched nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards for best K-pop and best choreography with “Pinky Up,” another prerelease from "Wild."
