Grand Hyatt Seoul celebrates Children’s Day with family-friendly events

Grand Hyatt Seoul will offer a variety of special programs May 5, Children's Day. Highlights include the Floating Sounds Bath, a tranquil bonding session for mothers and children set to soft music and nature sounds, and a lively K-pop Zumba class. The hotel also offers a flower class for children where, in an outdoor garden setting, they can design flower pots and create floral gifts for their parents at 36,000 won for guests and 60,000 won for non-guests. To mark the occasion, the hotel’s Poolside Barbecue will open for the season, featuring premium barbecue beside the outdoor pool. A special promotion allows one child to dine free per paying adult (159,000 won).

In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, Park Hyatt Seoul is teaming up with Italian sustainable hair care brand Davines to run an eco-friendly Instagram campaign until April 22. The initiative encourages individuals to share daily green habits that contribute to environmental protection. Participants should follow both @parkhyattseoul and @davines.korea on Instagram, tag a friend and comment their eco-friendly practices under the event post. Sharing the post to Instagram Stories increases the chances of winning. Twenty winners will receive a Davines MOMO Shampoo Bar and Conditioner set.

Haevichi Hotel Jeju launches ‘Be the Oreumer’ spring package

Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju unveiled its seasonal “Be the Oreumer” package, inviting guests to explore the island’s scenic oreums (volcanic hills), while enjoying a relaxing stay. The package includes an “Oreum Notebook” with information on 100 oreums, such as difficulty, region and recommended seasons, plus a pair of organic cotton socks illustrated with oreum-themed designs. Guests receive a one-night stay in a superior room, access to indoor and outdoor heated pools, and 10 percent discounts on spa treatments and dining. For bookings of two nights or more, the package includes breakfast for two at the hotel’s buffet restaurant. Available through Aug. 31, prices start at 208,000 won.

Walkerhill launches art campaign featuring artist Jayson Atienza

Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts has launched its new art-driven campaign, “Joy with Art,” in collaboration with renowned visual artist Jayson Atienza. Unveiled April 15 at Vista Walkerhill’s rooftop garden Skyard, Atienza’s "Elevate Your Vibration" transforms the space with vibrant patterns inspired by Seoul’s natural landscapes. His bold designs also adorn sunbeds and parasols. Walkerhill will host Art Picnic Saturday and Sunday featuring live performances, kid-friendly drawing sessions, creative activities and picnic-style food. Tickets to Art Picnic cost 200,000 won for a group of two adults and a child. Children will receive art kits and a sketchbook designed by Atienza.

GLAD Hotels marks Children’s Day with 'GLAD Kids Fest – Magic & Fun'

In celebration of Children’s Day, GLAD Hotels is hosting “GLAD Kids Fest — Magic & Fun” on May 5, offering a mix of buffet dining and engaging activities for children across its Jeju and Yeouido properties. At Maison GLAD Jeju, the Crystal Hall will transform into a kids’ wonderland from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy a themed buffet alongside interactive performances, including magic, balloon and bubble show and “Sand Art Theater.” Children can also join hands-on sessions like a DIY garden cake cooking class, a sand art experience zone and photo booths. Entry costs 60,000 won for adults and 50,000 won for children (born 2013–2021). Meanwhile, GLAD Yeouido will hold its celebration in the Bloom Hall with highlights such as “Magician K’s Fantastic Show,” balloon art, face painting and a chef-led mini cake making class. Activities start at 11 a.m., and pricing matches the Jeju event.
