
Tulips at Everland
From Friday, the signature Four Seasons Garden at Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, will showcase 1.2 million tulips and daffodils.
Close to 100 different varieties of spring flowers, including roses and plum and cherry blossoms, will be on display.
Sign up for Garden Pass, a new subscription service that allows holders to visit Everland gardens anytime they want.

Roses, freesias at Manorblanc
Manorblanc on Jeju Island is in full bloom with roses, freesias and Scotch brooms.
Admission costs 4,000 won, which can be used as credit toward a drink purchase at the Manorblanc cafe.
The garden is open year-round from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children younger than grade school age are not admitted. Pets must be leashed.

Cheongdo Light Festival
A train trip to Cheongdo County in North Gyeongsang Province is worth the two-hour ride from Seoul.
Cheongdo Provence Park, dotted with installations and attractions, is presenting the Cheongdo Light Festival, a fixture on the county calendar since 2012.
The festival runs through November, charging 13,000 won for middle schoolers and older and 9,000 won for younger guests.

Spring blooms at Hwadam
Online reservations are open for Hwadam, a botanical garden of spring flowers like daffodils, rosebay and plum blossoms in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
Those with a reservation can visit the garden beloved for its walking trails and a monorail connecting major stops on the compound.
Hwadam is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is 11,000 won for adults, and does not cover the monorail ride.

Hwaeomsa plum blossoms in Gurye
To see some of the country’s most impressive plum blossoms, stop by Hwaeomsa, a temple run by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism on the slopes of Jirisan in South Jeolla Province.
The distinctively deep pink flowers here were designated as a natural monument last year, and the temple is home to several nationally recognized treasures like stone lanterns, and to bamboo trails.
