Hanwha Hotels & Resorts is offering its "Extreme Winter In Pyeongchang" at Hanwha Resort Pyeongchang in Gangwon Province. The package includes a one-night stay with breakfast, plus a choice of a six-hour lift pass, a sledding pass or six hours of equipment rental. The passes can be used at nearby Phoenix Park.
The promotion runs through Feb. 28, 2025, with prices starting at 156,000 won.
As part of the package, Hanwha Resort, in partnership with dermo-cosmetics brand Dr.G, is offering the Dr.G Soothing Up Sun Stick or Snail Retinol Ampoules. The free products are available for those who book weekday stays through the official website, with a limited quantity of 200 products available.
Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Teppan introduces winter wellness menu
Teppan, Grand Hyatt Seoul’s fine dining restaurant, has launched a winter dining promotion that showcases seasonal ingredients.
The meal begins with an appetizer made with fresh tuna and sweet pumpkin. This is followed by grilled red tilefish served with caviar and wasabi foam sauce. A new addition to the menu is a unique dish made with finely minced Korean beef flank paired with grilled grouper, woven together like a chain, and complemented by pine nuts and truffle sauce.
Crab papillote combines a deep, flavorful broth made from 24-hour simmered chicken stock, enriched with crab broth. For the main course, guests can enjoy a premium Hanwoo beef steak paired with seasonal ingredients such as wild ginseng and wild chives.
Teppan’s winter lunch course menu is priced at 170,000 won, while the dinner course menu is available for 250,000 won.

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is launching its “Strawberry Gourmet Boutique” at its Lobby Lounge & Bar from Jan. 4 to March 30, 2025.
The Strawberry Gourmet Boutique offers an experience that begins with fresh, sweet in-season strawberries and a strawberry spritzer welcome drink, followed by a gourmet course featuring premium ingredients such as truffles, caviar, sea urchin, sweet shrimp and Korean beef. The meal concludes with an artful dessert presentation.
Guests will also enjoy Petit Four, a collection of three strawberry-themed desserts. To cap off the experience, guests will receive a strawberry bouquet — a gift of chocolate-dipped strawberries, macarons and fresh flowers.
The Strawberry Gourmet Boutique will be offered Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., priced at 130,000 won per person.
Kensington Hotel & Resort launches New Year’s package
Kensington Hotel & Resort is offering its “Find Your Luck” package, available at 15 locations nationwide through Jan. 31, 2025.
The package includes a one-night stay, breakfast for three and a special lucky box, with prices starting at 109,900 won. Each lucky box contains a 20,000 won discount for future stays, a keychain from the Kensington Signature Bear Series and additional prizes, including five stay vouchers, 15 Ashley restaurant meal vouchers and 55 10,000 won Kensington cash vouchers.
