Chanyeol of Exo will release his second Japanese EP, "Tabi," Friday, about a year after the release of his previous EP "Hibi."

The new six-track album explores personal emotions, meaningful relationships and memorable moments from everyday life through a mix of musical genres.

All six songs were released digitally in advance on Monday, including lead track "Song For You," a modern rock number driven by electric guitar that expresses feelings for a loved one.

Chanyeol also took part in writing and producing several songs. He co-wrote and arranged the lo-fi-inspired "Reburning" and contributed to the lyrics, composition and arrangement of "Madoromi," featuring Mia of Japanese music project Sangatsu no Phantasia.

The EP also features the retro-inspired "Infinity," funk-driven "Timeless" and laid-back "Stay with U."

The K-pop singer will support the album with "Chanyeol Japan Tour 2026 -The Route -" beginning in Kanagawa on Oct. 14. The tour will continue in Aichi on Oct. 29, Osaka on Nov. 2 and Tokyo on Nov. 11.

Before the tour, Chanyeol is set to perform at the Japanese music festival A-nation 2026 at a special venue on Tokyo's Odaiba island on Saturday.
