Evan debuts on Billboard 200 at No. 49

Evan, formerly known as Heeseung of Enhypen, has proved himself as a solo singer, banking No. 49 on the Billboard 200 with his first solo EP.

“Death of Me” marked his first entry on the chart, dated Oct. 3, while he topped its ranking of emerging artists and entered the Artist 100 at No. 51.

The eight-track set sold half a million copies in three days, while the main track of the same title came in first place on two TV music chart shows.

Over the weekend, Evan had a listening party for the mini album in Macao and covered Chinese-language songs on stage, in addition to songs from the EP.

He is to start promoting follow-up tracks, performing “Twilight” on a TV show on Thursday and releasing videos featuring “Noise” and “Going Home” on YouTube.
