Posco Group is hiring hundreds of entry-level employees across six affiliates and research units, putting AI and robotics talent at the center of its push to automate operations and build new growth engines.
The recruitment drive covers about 60 roles spanning production, sales, safety and advanced technology, the group said Thursday.
Participating organizations include Posco Holdings’ Future Technology Research Institute, Posco, Posco International, Posco DX, Posco E&C and the Research Institute of Industrial Science & Technology.
AI and robotics specialists are a key focus. Posco Holdings is seeking researchers in robot perception and control, while Posco and Posco DX are recruiting talent to drive AI transformation across manufacturing sites and office operations.
Posco has also created a dedicated AI engineer category for hires who will work on factory automation and workplace innovation.
The group has simplified its application process by replacing traditional essay questions with activity-based descriptions. Applicants will instead detail their achievements and experience, giving them more flexibility to highlight their skills and strengths.
The hiring campaign supports Posco Group’s “Triple-Core” strategy unveiled in July, which reorganizes its portfolio around industrial, strategic and energy resources. The group aims to reinforce its position as Korea’s leading supplier of critical resources by securing talent in key growth fields.
Applications are open through Sept. 16 on Posco’s recruitment website. The group will also hold online and offline recruiting events, including career counseling sessions with current employees.
