“고양이소녀”라는 별명을 가진 6살 중국 소녀는 등에 검은 털이 났으며 점점 팔과 얼굴에 퍼져나가고 있어 시급한 치료가 필요하다고 데일리 메일이 보도했다.
희귀한 피부병으로 인해 몸이 점차 검은 털로 뒤덮이는 이 소녀의 상태는 처음부터 이렇지 않았다. 소녀의 부모님은 일 년 전에 등에 검은 부분을 발견했지만 의사들은 단지 모반이라고 말했다. 검은 털이 퍼지기 시작했을 때도 모반이라는 주장은 바뀌지 않았다.
털이 점차 등 전체를 뒤덮자 겁에 질린 엄마는 딸과 가족을 떠났다. 현재 아빠와 할머니, 할아버지가 소녀를 돌보고 있으며 아빠는 “아이가 저렇게 고통 속에서 살아야 한다니 가슴이 아프다.”고 말하였다.
5살 때까지 수술이 불가능하다고 했지만 지금은 5살인데도 적금을 꾸준히 했음에도 불구하고 돈이 모자라 수술을 못한다고 아버지가 안타까워했다. 딸의 가장 큰 꿈은 치료를 받아 다른 또래들처럼 여름 옷과 수영복을 입고 싶은 것이라고 한다.
전파를 탄 후 기부를 하는 사람들이 생겨나 조만간 수술이 가능하게 되었다.
