South Korean comedian Kwak Han-goo will tie the knot with his girlfriend next year, a local daily reported Wednesday.
According to Sports Dong-A, the 31-year-old comedian is set to hold the wedding ceremony on April 26, 2014, with his girlfriend of three years, who is three years his senior. “I originally planned to get married this year but decided to postpone it a little bit, because of several issues,” Kwak said.
After he debuted in 2005, Kwak became one of the country’s better-known comedians through his appearances on popular KBS comedy program “Gag Concert.”
He made headlines in 2009 when he was indicted on charges of stealing a car. Kwak said he never intended to steal the car, claiming that he “just wanted to drive a Mercedes vehicle and was going to return the car.”
