“Now that the title track has been chosen, his (Psy’s) comeback is imminent. But the details (of his comeback) will be set only after he has finished working on the album,” an acquaintance of the 36-year-old singer told Osen.
Psy has been working on the follow-up of “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” with songwriter Yoo Kun-hyung, with whom he has produced the back-to-back smash hits.
The unnamed acquaintance said, however, that the singer will not be rushing his comeback in order to ride coattails of the popularity of his previously released songs.
Psy’s new song is expected to be unveiled in late December or early next year. Some have speculated that the singer will reveal the new track during his concerts that are slated to be held in Seoul from Dec. 20 to Dec. 24.
