Environmental engineer Lee Yoon-jin was included in the 2014 edition of the Marquis Who’s Who in the World, making it into the international biographical publication for the fifth consecutive year.

Lee, a professor at Konyang University in South Chungcheong Province, has been included in the publication since the 2010 edition.

A leading water management researcher, Lee has had her work published in a number of local and international journals. Some of her more recent research subjects include controlling byproducts in water treatments and increasing the efficiency of related systems.

Since 2011, she has also worked as lead- and co-researcher on four separate state-funded projects including that regarding the effect the components of water supply network have on microbial growth funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

Lee also serves on the North Chungcheong Province’s groundwater management committee and as a guest editor for the journal Biomed Research International. She also reviews papers for the journal Water Science and Technology.
