Seoul shares almost flat in late-morning trade

South Korean stocks held almost steady late Monday morning as they pared earlier gains, dented by losses in logistics and retail firms, analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 1.16 points, or 0.06 percent, to 1,983.71 as of 11:20 a.m., reverting from a bullish start at the opening bell.
