The Korea Herald is looking for a full-time copy editor.

Requirements | - Excellent news sense and an ear for a story. - Able to polish and streamline copy while meticulously checking for consistency and errors. - Strong fact-checking ability with a head for figures. - Deep understanding of AP style. - Preferably two or more years of experience in journalism or related fields. - Additional consideration will be given to candidates with Korean language ability, and who are open to participating in podcasts and video content. |
Job description | The role involves editing articles for print and online, video and podcast scripts and other online copy. Other tasks include headline writing and proofreading, as well as contributing to podcasts, video content and original reporting. |
Note | Candidates must either have a work visa or qualify for a relevant visa. |
2. Work hours and salary
Salary | Dependent on experience |
Hours | 40-hour workweek, in-office. Days and times of work vary, but include some Sundays and evening hours on a rotational basis. |
