K-pop agency to manage South Korean football star's broadcasting, advertising and other off-field activities
South Korean football star Lee Kang-in, a winger for Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid, has signed an exclusive management contract with The Black Label for his off-field activities, according to the K-pop agency Friday.
"We are pleased to announce that we have signed a management contract with South Korean national football team player Lee Kang-in," The Black Label said in a statement. "As a trusted partner, we will fully support Lee in his future endeavors and new challenges."
Under the agreement, the agency will oversee Lee's television appearances, advertising deals and other activities beyond his football career.
The Black Label, led by producer Teddy, represents artists including Blackpink's Rose and Big Bang's Taeyang. Teddy also co-wrote "Golden," the hit soundtrack from Netflix's animated film "KPop Demon Hunters."
