
Flower garden in Gapyeong
Through May 25, the Garden of Morning Calm in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, showcases spring flowers in full bloom.
Spring flowers include tulips, daffodils, magnolias, azaleas, forsythias and plum blossoms.
The garden is open year-round from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with admission 11,000 won for adults.

DDP festival in Seoul
A festival of movies, concerts and parades is running at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, until May 31.
The free festival, hosting programs and performances like outdoor yoga and symphony orchestras, will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Gochang Green Barley Festival
Stop by the annual Green Barley Festival at Hagwon Farm in Gochang, North Jeolla Province, before it ends on Sunday.
Music performances — ranging from the traditional folk art “nongak” to classical and jazz — are held amid the scenic barley fields.
Children can participate in treasure hunts. Both admission and parking are free.

Han River guided tours
Free guided tours of historic sites in and around the Han River in Seoul are available through November.
Tours begin daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 16 locations, evenly divided between the north and south sides of the river.
Reservations must be made at least five days in advance at visit-hangang.seoul.kr. A confirmation text message will be sent upon reservation.

Spring festival in Yangjae
A festival featuring everything from spring blossoms to live performances and food trucks is taking place at the Yangjae Stream Waterside Stage, between the First and Second Yeongdong bridges in Seocho-gu, Seoul, through May 25.
Visitors can stroll along illuminated paths lined with cherry blossom trees, enjoy performances by opera singers and street artists and sample street food.
Booths are set up selling both traditional and modern handicrafts.
