Bang, the 52-year-old chief producer behind BTS, is K-pop's richest man
Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of Hybe and chief producer behind the K-pop juggernaut BTS, is in the media spotlight for this apparent weight loss.
The producer on Tuesday shared a photo of himself posing with staff members, looking noticeably thinner than in his public appearances several months ago.
His followers noticed Bang's transformation, writing in the comment section things like, “Can you please share your diet plan?” and “Our boss has lost so much weight!”
Bang, 52, is the founder of Big Hit Music and Hybe, where he is currently the largest shareholder and chairman of the board. According to a report by CXO Korea, Bang, who received approximately $760,000 in compensation last year, is the sixth-richest Korean by equity holdings, estimated at around $2.1 billion.
