A brief cold snap was expected to arrive nationwide Wednesday morning, with a chance of snow in the southern part of Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province.

As the freezing weather is forecast to last until tomorrow, the Korea Meteorological Administration advised those taking the college entrance exam, or Suneung, to brace themselves for the cold weather.

Fine dust levels will remain good to average throughout the day, while dry weather is expected for some parts of Gangwon Province and North Gyeongsang Province.
